Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 6, 2026
Language notice: This legal page is provided in English only. The English version is the official and controlling version.
This Privacy Policy explains how DLSS5Please, operated by Zhou Wei, collects and uses
information when you use dlss5please.com.
We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the Service.
1. Information you provide
Depending on the feature, you may provide:
- screenshots and comparison images;
- game and technical metadata;
- a source URL;
- a scene description used for moderation;
- an optional author contact email;
- an email address used to watch a game for future comparison notifications;
- report reason, details, and optional report contact email;
- communications sent to our legal, privacy, copyright, or support addresses.
2. Request-vote information
When you use the “Please” feature, we may store an anonymous or pseudonymous browser/voter identifier to prevent duplicate votes for the same game.
We do not need your name to cast a request vote.
3. Technical and security information
Our infrastructure and security providers may process technical data such as:
- IP address;
- browser or device information;
- timestamps;
- request or security logs;
- anti-abuse signals;
- Turnstile verification information.
We use this information for security, abuse prevention, reliability, debugging, and service operation.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- operate search, requests, uploads, moderation, and comparison pages;
- prevent duplicate or abusive voting;
- review Submissions;
- contact an uploader when moderation follow-up is reasonably necessary;
- send a game notification specifically requested by a user;
- investigate reports and legal complaints;
- detect spam, fraud, attacks, and abuse;
- maintain and improve the Service;
- comply with applicable legal obligations and valid legal requests.
5. Author contact email
Providing an author contact email is optional.
It is used only for submission- or moderation-related communication.
It is not displayed publicly and is not treated as consent to receive unrelated marketing.
We retain it only as long as reasonably necessary for moderation and a reasonable dispute, abuse, or legal period, unless longer retention is required by law or an ongoing dispute.
6. Watch email
If you choose to watch a game, we use your email to provide the notification you requested.
A game-watch subscription is separate from any marketing newsletter.
You can unsubscribe through the provided method or by contacting us.
We may retain limited records necessary to honor an unsubscribe and prevent unwanted re-subscription.
7. Reports and legal communications
If you submit a Report, copyright complaint, privacy request, or other legal communication, we may retain the communication and related records as reasonably necessary to investigate, respond, document actions, resolve disputes, and comply with law.
8. Public and private submission data
Public pages may display structured technical information such as:
- game;
- DLSS 5 Off / On labels;
- GPU;
- resolution;
- implementation method;
- game version;
- driver version;
- tool/mod version;
- FPS;
- approved source URL.
We do not intentionally publish:
- author contact email;
- moderation-only scene description;
- reporter email;
- report details;
- internal moderation notes.
9. Service providers
We use third parties including:
- Cloudflare for website delivery, security, Turnstile, Workers, and object/image storage;
- Neon for PostgreSQL hosting;
- IGDB/Twitch services for game metadata and search support;
- an email provider if notification email is enabled.
These providers may process information as necessary to provide services to us under their own terms and privacy practices.
10. International processing
Our Service is global and uses infrastructure that may process information outside your country.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will take reasonable steps required by that law.
11. Cookies and local storage
We may use cookies or browser storage reasonably necessary for:
- request-vote state;
- security;
- session functionality;
- language preference;
- anti-abuse controls.
If we later introduce non-essential advertising, behavioral analytics, or tracking technologies that require consent in a jurisdiction, we will update this Policy and implement required consent before enabling them there.
12. Retention
We retain information according to purpose.
Examples:
- game and public comparison metadata may remain while part of the Service;
- author contact email is retained only for moderation and a reasonable dispute period;
- Watch email is retained while the subscription remains active and as reasonably necessary to honor an unsubscribe;
- removed content may be privately held for a limited period for moderation, dispute, legal, or backup purposes;
- security logs are retained according to operational or provider needs.
We may keep information longer where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, legal claims, legal obligations, or security.
13. Your choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may ask us to:
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information;

- comply with applicable law, court orders, or valid legal process;
