Terms of Service
Effective date: September 6, 2026
Language notice: This legal page is provided in English only. The English version is the official and controlling version.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of DLSS5Please at dlss5please.com (the “Service”),
operated by Zhou Wei (“DLSS5Please,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using the Service, submitting content, voting on games, subscribing to game notifications, or sending a report, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What DLSS5Please is
DLSS5Please is an independent community service for viewing and sharing technical image comparisons showing the same game scene with DLSS 5 Off and DLSS 5 On.
The Service may include game search, request voting, user-submitted image comparisons, moderation, metadata, notifications, and related informational features.
DLSS5Please is an independent community project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by NVIDIA or by the publishers or developers of games shown on the Service.
Rights in underlying games, characters, artwork, trademarks, and other third-party material remain with their respective owners.
2. Availability
The Service may be changed, suspended, restricted, or discontinued at any time.
We may restrict access from particular countries or regions for legal, security, operational, or business reasons.
We do not guarantee that every game, comparison, feature, or Submission will remain available.
3. Requests and voting
The Service may allow you to indicate that you want to see a DLSS 5 comparison for a game.
Votes are intended as a community demand signal. We may use technical measures to prevent duplicate or abusive voting.
We may remove or correct votes that we reasonably believe are automated, manipulated, fraudulent, or abusive.
4. User Submissions
You may submit screenshots, comparison images, structured metadata, source links, scene notes, and other information (“Submissions”).
You retain any rights you may have in your Submission.
You grant DLSS5Please a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, transcode, create technical display copies of, publicly display, and distribute your Submission through the Service to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, maintain, and reasonably promote the Service.
This license does not transfer ownership of your Submission to DLSS5Please.
5. Your submission promises
By submitting content, you represent that:
- you have the right to submit the material and grant the license above;
- the images are a genuine comparison of DLSS 5 Off and DLSS 5 On;
- the images represent the same scene and camera position as closely as reasonably possible;
- you have not intentionally altered unrelated visual settings in a way that makes the comparison misleading;
- the content is not leaked, unreleased, subject to an NDA, or obtained from a non-public build without authorization;
- the Submission does not include malware, malicious downloads, stolen credentials, unlawful circumvention material, or links whose primary purpose is to distribute such material;
- the information you provide is not knowingly false or materially misleading.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use the Service to:
- upload content you do not have the right to submit;
- upload illegal content;
- upload leaked, unreleased, embargoed, or NDA-protected material without authorization;
- distribute malware, cracks, stolen proprietary binaries, or material whose primary purpose is unlawful circumvention of DRM, access controls, or anti-cheat protections;
- impersonate another person or organization;
- publish another person’s private personal information without authorization;
- manipulate votes, reports, or other Service metrics;
- submit spam, deceptive advertising, phishing links, or malicious URLs;
- submit sexually explicit or pornographic material, including explicit sexual acts, visible genitalia presented for sexual purposes, or sexualized content involving minors;
- submit sexual violence or exploitative sexual content;
- submit extremely graphic gore, torture, dismemberment, exposed internal organs, or other disturbing material when the primary purpose is shock, fetishization, or graphic spectacle rather than a legitimate technical comparison;
- intentionally submit fake or misleading comparisons;
- interfere with, overload, attack, or bypass security controls of the Service.
7. Moderation
Submissions may be reviewed before publication.
We may approve, reject, edit metadata, hide, disable, or remove content if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, our Content Policy, applicable law, a valid rights-holder request, or the integrity requirements of the Service.
Editing normally means editing metadata or links. We do not represent materially altered user screenshots as the original Submission.
We may preserve a private copy of removed material for a limited period when reasonably necessary for moderation, disputes, legal compliance, security, or backup.
8. Copyright complaints
If you believe material on the Service infringes copyright, review our Copyright & Takedown Policy.
A normal in-product Report is a moderation alert and may not contain all information required for a formal copyright notice.
9. Third-party games, tools, and links
DLSS5Please does not own the games shown on the Service.
References to third-party tools, mods, injectors, wrappers, websites, repositories, or other services are provided for informational purposes only.
A link or reference does not mean that DLSS5Please endorses, controls, guarantees, or is affiliated with that third party.
You are responsible for determining whether your use of a game, mod, tool, or third-party software complies with applicable licenses, terms, law, and platform rules.
10. Accuracy
We attempt to maintain useful technical metadata, but user-submitted information may be incomplete or incorrect.
DLSS5Please does not guarantee the accuracy of GPU, driver, game version, FPS, implementation method, source, or other metadata.
Do not rely on the Service as the sole basis for purchasing hardware, modifying software, bypassing security controls, or making other high-risk decisions.
11. Email features
If you voluntarily provide an email address for game notifications, we may use it to send the notification you requested.
If you voluntarily provide an author contact email with a Submission, we may use it for moderation or submission-related follow-up.
Those addresses are not treated as permission to send unrelated marketing email.
12. Intellectual property of the Service
The DLSS5Please website code, original interface elements, original text, original graphics, databases compiled by us, and other original Service materials may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Third-party game content and marks remain the property of their respective owners.
13. No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, accuracy, compatibility, preservation of Submissions, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DLSS5Please and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
15. Responsibility for your Submission
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims, losses, or costs arising from material you knowingly submit without the rights or permissions required by these Terms.
Nothing here requires you to waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service changes.
The current version and effective date will be posted on this page.
17. Assignment and transfer of the Service
We may assign or transfer these Terms, and the rights and licenses granted to us under them, to an affiliate, successor, or other entity that takes over operation of the Service, including in connection with incorporation, reorganization, sale, merger, or transfer of DLSS5Please, subject to applicable law.
If operation of the Service is transferred to a new legal entity, we will update the Terms and Privacy Policy to identify the new operator and provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate.
18. Applicable law
These Terms do not designate a governing law or court location that does not reflect the Service's actual legal and operational circumstances.
Applicable law, mandatory rights, and jurisdiction will be determined under the laws and rules that actually apply to the operator, the user, and the dispute.
If DLSS5Please later becomes operated by a registered company or other legal entity, this section may be updated to include an appropriate governing-law and jurisdiction clause based on the real operating entity.
